About ARISE!

Kids Arise! is a prayer day to gather children in praise, prayer and worship in every time zone on the 14th April 2012.

The vision is to:

• Enthrone God in the praises of His children (the 4-14 window)

“For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.” ^{ISA 61:11}

• Mobilise children to come into the Father’s presence, to lift up the name of Jesus.

“From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies,  to silence the foe and the avenger.” PS 8:2

• Help them take their place as disciples set apart for God

“They will be called oaks of righteousness,a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.” Isa 61:3

 Gathering children together to pray and worship took place in many forms across the UK. Ranging from small gatherings in peoples’ homes to city-wide prayer events hosted in public spaces, we were excited to see children across the UK gather together to lift up the name of Jesus in praise & worship, intercession and also dedicate themselves as a generation set apart for God.

The ARISE! Prayer days in the UK included:

• Worship
• Listening to God
• Isaiah 61 short teaching (only in some locations)
• Isaiah 61 Declaration (4.14pm local time in every location)
• Olympic Prayer workshop (only in some locations)
• ‘Prayer Journey’ Prayer workshop (only in some locations)

Here in Bath, we will be joined by the fantastic Brendon and Cathie Clancy, the founders of the Arise Movement for the whole weekend! We’ll be having lots of fun, seeking God and telling Him how amazing He is! All primary school aged children welcome (Years 0-6)
	Saturday 13th April, 12.30-4.30pm Join us for a day jam packed with lots of activities and fun! We’ll alse be preparing and practising for Sunday’s live link up with our children across the world! 2012

ARISE! took place on Saturday 14th April 2012, around the world! In the UK we have a number of churches and organisations interested across the whole of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.. Exact times varied from location to location, but all ran over 4.14pm. Suggested start times are between 3.30pm and 4pm and expected to last until 5pm.
